What is your tattoo method?

I have three years of experience with handpoke tattooing, but I have recently been machine tattooing exclusively. I currently offer both methods to my clients.

What is a handpoke tattoo?

Handpoke (or stick n poke) tattoos are tattoos created without a machine, completely done by hand. I use anywhere between 3RL and 7RL needles to create fine dot work and lines. This traditional process is much slower and quieter without a machine, but I appreciate how each dot/poke is intentional. Generally, handpoke tattoos tend to have a softer look to them, but I like to create designs that have a machine-quality crispness paired with that same unique and subdued aesthetic as a handpoke tattoo.

How can I book an appointment with you?

I will open books periodically, every month or so, depending on my schedule. Currently, I am only tattooing from my flash designs. This will definitely change in the future as I adjust to my new schedule! You can find my booking status in my Instagram bio, but keeping an eye on my Instagram or visiting my website are the best ways to know where I’m at with my books.

What is flash?

Flash designs are pre-drawn designs that you can choose from, as opposed to designs that are created by request. I am always willing to adjust the size of a design and switch out certain elements within reason. Please be sure to ask me prior to your appointment if you wish to make any changes to a design. Asking for a change in design the day of our session could result in a higher cost, as it takes time to prepare for these changes.

How much will my tattoo cost?

Flash designs will be priced at fixed rates, but are subject to change depending on size modification. These prices are based on size, detail, and overall estimated time it’ll take to complete the tattoo. I require a $50 deposit once we have confirmed your appointment to secure your spot and to ensure that you are committed to the tattoo. The deposit will go towards the final price of your tattoo. Deposits can be paid via Venmo (@HannahVisconti) within 24 hours of booking.

I also offer a sliding scale for BIPOC and trans/non-binary individuals.

If you are concerned about pricing of a tattoo or need to negotiate payment, always feel free to ask me! I want tattoos to be accessible to folks while also honoring my craft.

Do I need to tip my tattoo artist?

Tipping your artist is always a nice gesture and can be a great way to show your appreciation for their time, effort, and artwork. If you feel so inclined, I will accept monetary or handmade gifts!

How do I pay you?

I accept payment via cash or Venmo (@HannahVisconti).

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Life is silly and sometimes things happen that are out of our control or not what we expected! I totally understand. If something has come up and you need to reschedule, please let me know within 48 hours of your appointment, or at least as soon as possible. Since deposits are non-refundable, we can always work to get you rescheduled. Thank you for respecting my time!

How do I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

Taking great care of yourself before and after getting your tattoo is so important!

  • Drink plenty of water a few days before, during, and after your tattoo session.

  • Keep your skin hydrated before and after your appointment.

  • Shower prior to your appointment - staying as clean as possible is key!

  • Please be sure to limit caffeine intake the day of your tattoo.

  • Have a good night of rest the evening before.

  • Please do not consume alcohol at least 24 hours before your tattoo. Alcohol thins your blood, and excess blood can mean that more ink is being pushed out of your skin. This can make the tattooing process trickier for your artist, and can worsen your healing too!

  • Be prepared to travel to your appointment and stay for the amount of time predicted to complete your tattoo. I’d recommend keeping your schedule free for at least 30 minutes to an hour after your predicted session time, just in case! Please let me know if you have time constraints when you book with me.

What do you do to ensure safety and sanitation?

I strive to have the cleanest environment possible before and after your tattoo session, so you can feel safe and protected from possible disease. I have my Blood Borne Pathogens certification and am CPR certified. Gloves are used whenever I am in contact with you, using items that may be in contact with you, and thrown away when contaminated. Equipment is always cleaned with disinfectant before and after your session. Needles and needle cartridges are single-use and are disposed of in a sharps container. Please feel free to ask me any questions about how I keep this space safe for you!

What is your inclusion policy?

All bodies are welcome at Suffice Tattoo! You will not be turned away from a tattoo based on your race, gender, size, or abilities. If there are any accommodations you need to make you feel more welcome, please do not hesitate to reach out.

During your tattoo, I like to check in with each client to make sure they are comfortable and respected. I will always ask permission to touch you or move you. Let me know your pronouns. Feel free to let me know if you’d like me to adjust the way I communicate with you. I want to make sure you feel safe and comfortable!

Please feel free to reach out to me if you need any other questions answered! You can always reach me at hannah.visconti@gmail.com.
